So how many of you have heard of murphys law? Well I think I surpassed Murphys law, and hit Sods law. Murphys law is everything that can go wrong will go wrong. Well this morning on the Darkroom Cycling Club Sunday social ride I was struck by a big case of Sods law. It goes something like this. Murphy was an optimist.

So after two punctures at once I quickly got the bike ready last night for todays ride. After meeting the rest of club for the ride and enjoying a delicious Flat White we set off on the ride. I must have gone less than a mile when the front felt wierd. I looked down and the tyre was nearly doing its best pancake impression. I could not believe the run of bad luck. So I decided as the route was going close to home I would be sensible and abandon the ride in favour of a lot of maintenance and cleaning. So the bike is looking good and I have now fitted my puncture free countermeasure to the bike. Have a look closely at the photos.

Well that's it for todays update. I really need to create the pain cave and get some miles clocked up in the turbo trainer. That's the next task.

Stay tuned for more updates.
